A2MX Monitor has developed an advanced system for dynamic and continuous monitoring of critical infrastructures, based on IoT technologies, Cloud Computing, and Artificial Intelligence. The solution is designed to ensure constant and predictive control over bridges, viaducts, public buildings, and other strategic structures, enabling the detection of structural anomalies, prevention of damage, and optimization of maintenance plans.

TECHNOLOGICAL ARCHITECTURE

The platform is structured on three levels:

  • Ultra-low power, high-performance IoT Monitoring Devices based on digital technology, which continuously detect structural and environmental variations, with local data processing capability and NBIoT/LTE communication.
  • Integrated Cloud System that uses AWS cloud services: acquires data from devices distributed across infrastructures, processes it, and stores it in a data lake.
  • Artificial Intelligence Software to analyze data and detect patterns or anomalies. The resulting information is then displayed in an interactive dashboard and can generate notifications and alarms to inform users of relevant events.

IoT DEVICE

The A2MX Monitor IoT device ensures:

  • Continuous wireless acceleration detection, without external power supply: installation is simple and requires no wiring.
  • Edge Computing Processing: data is continuously processed to extract structural data, which allows for reduced transmissions to the Cloud and contained energy consumption.
  • High-precision synchronization: sensors work in perfect sync to support modal analysis.
  • Low energy consumption: designed for 3 years of continuous detection without maintenance interventions

INTEGRATED CLOUD SYSTEM

 

The Cloud platform, hosted on AWS, enables the acquisition, processing, and secure storage of data in a scalable data lake:

  • Data Ingestion: Collects data from IoT devices with advanced technologies to transfer data to the cloud.
  • Security: Protects data from unauthorized access and threats with end-to-end encryption.
  • Device Management and Monitoring: Enables centralized management of IoT devices and monitoring of their performance.
  • Data Processing: Processes acquired data to extract useful information and prepare it for further analysis.
  • Database: Stores data  for easy access and future use.
  • Interactive Dashboard: Real-time visualization of data and structural conditions.
